The Last Entry

As you can see, I haven't been posting here anymore.  I also have gotten rid of most of my links and stuff.  I am only going to keep a few things here (more will be disappearing soon).  The reason is that I would like to stick with my new website (which you can get to by clicking on the red button below.)  Nothing wrong with MSN Spaces of course, but I don't have time to run both sites anymore so I am deleting my others.  So this will most likely be my last entry here.  (The other site will be updated frequently so you can find me there)

As of this entry my spaces stats were at:

They may not be used without my permission.  As is Canadian copyright law, the copyright expires at the end of the Calender year PLUS another 50 years after the photo was taken.  So, that does not mean the copyright is expired in 2005, it means that it BEGINS in that year.

The Pictures OF me on this site were obviously not taken BY me. However they still may not be used. They come from my personal album, and have either been taken by family members who own the copyright or have been bought and paid for (as in all the professional photos)

Claiming that you are unaware of these copyright rules does not exclude you from them.  Neither are you excluded if you get one of my photos from someone else's site who is using them.

Canadian National Championships.

Hello Readers (if there are any)Haven't written in a few days.  That's okay.  It's my blog, so I'm allowed :)

I have been watching the Canadian Figure Skating Championships this week :) I watched the free dance today, but before I go on to that, here's some thoughts about a few of the other events.  (No, this is not a review, just some random thoughts I'm thinking at the moment)

1. YAY for Joannie and Jeff!  Great to see these two win titles in their events.  So happy for Joannie! Also, it was a great time to skate like that, because everyone else did not so good.  So if she had done a mediocre skate and won, it'd be like she won because everyone else did bad, but since she did the best free skate by any one lady in any country or competition this whole season, it was more like she won because she did awesome.  I hope Joannie and Jeff both skate like they did here at World's as well.  I'd love to see them on the podium!!

2. Yay for Mira! I'm so happy with her as well.  Finishing on the podium is awesome.  I remember my sister and I watching her when she was around seven years old and we both said "yup, she'll make it.  We'll be hearing about her in a few years."  And what do ya know, here she is :)

 3. Pairs event was horrid.  I mean, I saw two pairs fall out of their death spirals!!!! How often does that happen in the top group???  Very disappointed that Anabelle and Patrice are not on the world team. :(  I wanted them to win.  But it's more important for them to make the Olympics next year. And now for today's free dance. I LOVED Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir!  I really would like to see them make the world team in a few years.  I think they are AWESOME skaters.  Way more advanced then most skaters coming off the junior ranks.  4th place for them, which means they made the national team :) Yay for them!  As for Megan Wing and Aaron Lowe and Marie-France Dubreuil and Patrice Lauzon, I can't decide which team I like more.  I think it depends on the program.  This year though: I think D&L's Native American program has some awesome creativity in it and it's very difficult techically, but I think it still needs to be perfected.  Some of the transitions aren't as smooth as I'd like to see.  W&L's program has awesome transitions, as always from them, but I don't think they were as creative in their moves as they are in other years.  Also, as much as I love the music, I think it's too overused.  These two are usually awesome at coming up with completely original programs, and I don't think they did that so much this year.  As for Chantel and Arseni...bleh lol.  I like them, but never a fav of mine.  I definetly preferred the Chantel that I used to see skate with Michel Brunet lol.  It's great to see them working with Shae-Lynn of course though ;)  And the little bobble thingy whatever on the end of their program was actually fun to watch lol!  I love how they incorperated it into their ending.

Anyways, that's really all I have to say at the moment.

God Bless,
Teresa Dawn.
